Today when I chanted my Higher Self name, my Guides told me this:
My people knew how to harness Star energy to maximize Earth life. This was especially channeled into cultivating herbs, nourishment for our families and our psychic capacities.
Every girlchild learned Magic from her Mother. Handed down from the Stars; specifically, Sirius and her beings played a special role in the early development of my people. We worked with Gaia’s body to draw down the light, especially at night. Deep in the woods, in clearings that connected us with piercing Stars against the dark.
We harnessed this energy and wove it into our water. We drank of Star knowledge and fed it to our plants and our babies.
We were connected. You can see this in our horns, our antenna to the Stars.
We never severed. We knew the symbiotic beauty of Earth and Star and saw no contradiction here.
You come from us, Little Star.
And we are Activating you.

I created 13MOONS Magazine to resurrect the sacred feminine in Stories and Art. As a Seeress who'd worked directly with Oshun, Yemaya, Oya, and other earlier Goddesses, I noticed a stark difference in these energies and those of later iterations, such as Venus and Aphrodite. I am here to Remember and to help Remind us of who we are as women, who we are beneath patriarchal whitewashing and power politics as religion. I am here to Remind us of the wisdom we hold within each of our cells which we have mistakenly (and blasphemously) called our meat suit.
