| I’m Catherine. I’m an intuitive Artist, Akashic Records Reader & Reiki Seichem Master (one of the healing arts practised in ancient Egypt) and I have a deep connection to channeled imagery and symbols as a form of teaching and energetic communication. I channel & create Mystic & Ethereal Collage Art, Spiritual Business Branding, and Custom channeled Oracle Card Decks all filled with light-codes and ascension frequencies for New Paradigm light-workers to share their messages. |
13Moons asked…What was your inspiration behind the pieces being featured?Catherine: I’ve noticed that we often don’t recognise the depth and uniqueness of our own magic until reflected back to us by our friends or the people around us. I deeply feel and see people and the energy of their soul’s past-life experiences and love to create these channeled collages as a way of celebrating our infinite soul’s journey, our wisdom and what makes us unique. I created this particular portrait for the beautiful Alexandra Roxo (www.alexandraroxo.com) which celebrates her divine talent and soul’s purpose in guiding women through spiritual awakening and embodiment. When did you first realize you wanted to be an artist/writer?Catherine: As a child, I have always loved to create beauty through the order and placement of things and what feels right together – I was either playing with my doll’s house, outside making fairy-gardens or re-arranging my bedroom furniture, so creating mystical collage artwork has been a natural progression of that. What’s the purpose or goal of your work?Catherine: I sometimes feel like an explorer of other worlds, here to share reminders of our other life experiences. I love seeing my clients light up when they see their portraits and the soul recognition they receive – it’s such a potent experience when you are reminded of and embody your soul’s truth. How has your art/writing shifted over your time as a Creative?Catherine: I follow whatever makes me happy in expressing my creativity so this can be painting, digital collage, video, writing, or creating beauty through-out my home. What was one of the most surprising things you’ve learned about yourself through your creative projects?Catherine: I create my best art when creating without expectation. It’s a great practice to leave your thinking mind at the door and just play, for the sake of it, experiment, try out new methods and tools. Some times it will look awful, but that’s OK. Keep it, come back to it and go into it again. There are never any mistakes because you’ll always learn something from the process. What is your favorite part of creating?Catherine: Discovering a new way to visualise what I see and feel so that it translates our into the world for others to experience. Are there any creative endeavors that you’d like to explore in the future?Catherine: I’d love to explore creating and designing healing environments for nurturing stays or maybe healing centres, as I used to work for many years in healthcare. Who is your favorite Artist/Writer and why?Catherine: My favourite Artist is Mark Rothko as he was also driven to create deep and meaningful soul-shared experiences through his art making. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given as a Creative?Catherine: Don’t make choices based on what you think other people want. Most people don’t know what they want or why because we often spend too much time in our logical brain. Creativity understands the assignment and will always deliver.
